NCC’s Surrender and Spay (S&S) Program

*Unexpected Kittens? We Can Help.*

Did your cat have kittens unexpectedly? Are you worried about what comes next? *You don’t have to give up Mama. ❤️* Through Nickel City Cats’ *Surrender & Spay Program*, Mama gets to *stay with her family*, while we help take care of the kittens.

*Here’s how it works:*

*Mama stays with you.* She doesn’t have to be surrendered or separated from her family.

*Mama gets spayed — completely FREE.*

*We take in the kittens* and ensure they receive the veterinary care they need, including appropriate vaccines, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other necessary medical care.

*We find the kittens loving forever homes* through our adoption program.

*And there is NO COST to you.* We know accidental litters happen. We know sometimes people simply don’t know that their cat is pregnant until it’s too late. And we know that reaching out for help can feel embarrassing or scary.

*We aren’t here to judge. We’re here to help.*

Our goal is to prevent Mama from having another litter, give her the chance to stay safely with the family she knows, and make sure her kittens have everything they need to grow up healthy and find wonderful homes. If your cat has had kittens and you don’t know what to do next, *please reach out.* You don’t need to be embarrassed, and you don’t need to figure it out alone.

*Mama stays. Kittens get a fresh start. Everyone gets the care they deserve. And it’s completely FREE.*

NCC’s Breeder Surrender Program

*A Safe Landing for Cats Who Need a New Chapter*

Are you a breeder who is *downsizing, retiring, or looking to rehome cats who are no longer part of your breeding program?* We want you to know that *you can reach out to us.*

At Nickel City Cats, we understand that circumstances change. Breeding programs evolve, personal situations change, and sometimes cats simply need a different kind of life. Whatever the reason, *we’re here to help without judgment.* We are willing to take in cats who are being retired or rehomed from breeding programs and give them the chance to start their next chapter in a loving home.

We will ensure they are:
Spayed/neutered
Fully vetted and brought up to date on necessary care
Assessed for their individual needs and personality
Placed in a carefully selected foster home
Matched with a loving, appropriate forever family

If you’re a breeder considering retirement or downsizing and you’re worried about what will happen to your cats, *please fill our Breeder Surrender Form* to start that discussion with NCC. You don’t have to figure it all out alone, and you don’t have to wait until you’re in crisis.

Our priority is simple: *safe cats, compassionate care, and loving forever homes.*
